Valerie Still on Meck Radio

Former Columbus Quest star Valerie Still joins Meck for "The Morning Exchange" on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 11 am. The show will be repeated at 11 pm on VoiceCorps (http://www.voicecorps.org/). The program can also be heard on the community channel (ch 6) of Time-Warner cable in central Ohio.
Still led the Quest (along with Katie Smith) to consecutive ABL (American Basketball League) championships in the late 1990's.

Still is the most prolific scorer and rebounder in University of Kentucky basketball history (female or male) and played basketball in Italy for about 12 years. She even had her own TV show there for awhile. She currently is working on her doctorate at Ohio State and runs the Valerie Still Foundation which gives central ohio girls opportunities to bond with each other and learn leadership and teamwork skills.

Enjoy the show!

Mrs. Masys hangs it up!

Longtime BHS Human Ecology faculty member Rhodena Masys has concluded her teaching career at Bexley. She's been on staff since 1975.
Prior to joining Bexley High School, she was with the Plain Township School District from 1972 through 1975.

In our day, you may have had her for such courses as Clothing, Tailoring, Foods, International Cooking, Baking and Crafts, Interior Design, Basic Foods, Natural Foods, and Special Events Hospitality. She also served (pardon the pun) as Advisor for Cum Laude as well as on the Nutrition Committee.

Thank you very much, Mrs. Masys, for your outstanding years of service to Bexley High School. Email her at rmasys@bexley.k12.oh.us.
