David Kent lost his father

Don Dozer sent me this note about it:

David,

I wanted to let you know Dave Kent’s father died on Thursday. They expected it to be soon as he had terminal cancer and after a surgery a few weeks ago, they expected him to only live for a short time.

The obituary will be in the Sunday and Monday Dispatch and the arrangements are:

Calling Hours 1 – 3 Wednesday at Tidd Funeral Home in Hilliard, 5265 Norwich Street. The Funeral / Memorial service will follow immediately at 3:00-3:30.

Jimmy Crum passed away

Another icon of our years growing up in central Ohio is now gone. Legendary sportscaster Jimmy Crum died on Monday, January 5, 2009. No one was more actively involved in the community than the "Dean of central Ohio sportscasters." How about that!?

John Lewis named to Bexley HS Alumni Association Board of Trustees

Congrats to John Lewis on his appointment to the Bexley High School Alumni Association Board of Trustees. John will serve on the board until his term expires in 2012. Way to go, John!
