Well, excuse me....!!! (Meck gets mistaken for another celebrity.)
This past Sunday morning (April 30, 2006), I'm in Sacramento, and I'm waiting to board my connecting flight to Dallas. As I'm standing in line, this guy next to me starts telling me that I look like Steve Martin. My response to him was, "Well, excuse me...!!!" The guy laughs.
He then asks another passenger standing in line if he thinks I resemble Steve Martin. The passenger says "No." The man who did think I resemble the comedian continued to go on for another moment or so before finally giving the thought up.
First, it was Paul Newman. Now, it's Steve Martin. Who's next? Johnny Carson? Jay Leno? (I don't have the chin.) David Letterman, maybe? Who knows?
