Marcy Lichtenstein Bernson reports on impact of G20 Summit in Pittsburgh

With President Obama and various world leaders in the Steel City for the G20 Summit, here is a report from Marcy Lichtenstein Bernson on how this is impacting those who live and work in the local area:

"I’m working from home today (Thursday) and tomorrow. My law firm was pretty much forced to shut down, though we have a Wheeling office and some of our staff went there. There are only 3 check points to get into the downtown area and you have to hoof it from there. No vehicular traffic downtown. There is no Trolley or Bus Service. Even if I could drive downtown, my parking garage where I have a lease is closed. When I left work on Wednesday at 4:00pm it was already a ghost town. It was very weird to see the City with all the Security. We have had Blackhawk helicopters flying around the City all week long. There was just a little disruption today, according to the news. We will wait to see what tomorrow brings...Since I’m pretty much stuck to the suburbs today (Thursday), I met my parents for lunch in St. Clairsville, Ohio. It was good to see them."

Thanks for the great report, Marcy!
