Marcia Campbell Dillon updates
Sadly, Marcia will not be able to join us for the reunion because she currently has a lot on her plate, including helping her son, James, in his search for a college to attend after he graduates next year from high school. Here is Marcia's latest report on where that process currently stands:
"James has considered engineering (probably civil), architecture, and landscape architecture. Civil engineering is offered at a large number of schools. Architecture is offered at relatively few, and landscape architecture at even fewer still. Schools on his initial list included Lehigh, University of Virginia, Rice, Tulane, and Tufts. But now he is leaning more toward landscape architecture, so his revised list includes Cal Poly, Oregon, Idaho, Louisiana State University, Florida, Georgia, and Mississippi State (you can see why I've been busy with the college search!) Who knows what his thoughts will be by September, but it looks like Cal Poly will remain as his number one choice--and it offers all three majors. The only thing he really knows is that he doesn't want to be a pilot and that he hates biology. Go figure!"
