Reunion weekend update from Teri
Class.....
The meeting went great.
The major things discussed were the parade, the Sat. night dinner, and Friday night.Here is what we are planning:
On Friday at Old Bag of Nails: you will receive a weekend schedule so you will know everything that is going on....times, phone numbers, places, etc.
On Saturday, the dinner is at a country club and it would most likely be appropriate for men to wear sports jackets and women to wear dresses, skirts, and nice slacks. Please bring your check books or cash as it will be a cash bar and the class picture will be $15 to be paid that evening. Yes, we will let you in the dinner that night with your check. If that is what you are planning, let us know a few days ahead as we need to try to give the country club a count that is as close as possible to what we think are numbers will be. THIS MEANS IF YOU ARE COMING LET US KNOW! Also, let us know if you will be bringing your spouse, date, etc., so we know to count in 2 for you.
Sunday there will be a tour of the high school at noon. You can come anytime between 12-2 as far as I know right now....so for those of you that stay out late on Sat. night you can still get a sneak peak of the high school by 2 PM!
Monday, there is a change in meeting spot for the parade. We are now meeting at Susan Callif Eisenman's house, 192 N. Ardmore. We will gather at 8:30 AM.
Class update packets will be available on Sat. evening, Sunday at the school and at the picnic, and Monday at the parade. THose of you that are only coming Friday will receive yours by mail. aLso, update forms will be available to be filled out during the weekend and I can put together an addendum to our packet for those that don't get a chance to get theirs back.Please try and get those to me. I would be so grateful to have as many classmates in this booklet as possible. It is so much for fun to read when people take the time to fill it out and share their thoughts.
One more thing, PLEASE SEND ME YOUR PHOTOS IMMEDIATELY! I AM PUTTING TOGETHER OUR PHOTO ALBUM AND I NEED SOME NEW PHOTOS...Thanks to Trish, Beth, Susan C., Jay Elhard, and Cassandra for being the first to get me their family photos. I prefer in the mail photos as my printer's quality is not so great for photos. While we are on the topic of photos, here is what I need: I am looking for class photos of all elementary classes at Cassingham, Maryland, and Montrose. I was in Mrs. Williams, Mrs. Yearling, Mrs. Ewell, and Mrs. Porter at Cassingham so I have these class photos. If you could allow me to copy your originals, that would be awesome. IF you could copy your originals, and send the copies to me, I will reimburse you all costs. I would like to get all classes K-6. many of us still have our Cubs and high school year books (Bexleo), but wouldn't it be fun to see us in grade school to and reminisce about classmates that we knew way back when?
