Beth Costello Erdy returns to BHS!

Brooke Erdy, Beth Costello Erdy, Brynn Erdy, and Meck before watching Bexley defeat Olentangy Liberty 46-43 at BHS on December 1, 2005. Beth and Todd Erdy's other daughter, Brittny led the way for the Patriots with five points and about five rebounds as Liberty put up a strong fight in the second have to cut a huge first half deficit down to size and come within three of the Lions when the game ended. Between the end of the Junior Varsity game and the start of the Varsity game, Beth, Brynn, and Meck went outside to the old middle hallway in the school (the one with the various sports team photos down the hall from where Mr. Click's office used to be!). Brynn correctly picked out her mom from old team volleyball and track photos! Brynn, Brittny, and Todd Erdy were impressed when informed that Beth was a member of the 1978 State runner up volleyball team that has a banner hanging on the wall of the gym.

The Olentangy Liberty kids gave a strong effort in the second half. They have nothing to be ashamed of and can hold their heads high. Beth, Todd, and the other Patriot parents are very supportive of their athlete-students and do a wonderful job showing up for both home and road game. They serve as an inspiring example for others to follow.
