Class gift update
What follows is a response to my inquiry to Bexley Education Foundation Executive Director Charlene Morgan regarding the status of our class gift fundraising efforts:
David,
Thank you for your note regarding the Class of 1980 gift to Bexley High School. At this time, your class fund totals $325 that was collected at the time of your 25th class reunion. The cost of new benches for the main lobby of the high school is approximately $800/bench.
At this time, I do not have the catalogue as it was loaned to members of the Class of 1986 who also plan to purchase one or two benches for the lobby. They just had their reunion and I believe they have collected enough money for two benches.
Please let me know if you need any further information. The Foundation is most grateful for your support and look forward to working with the Class of 1980 on a gift.
