Murray's attend Wittenberg Parents Weekend Womens Soccer Match

Jim and Trish Coughlin Murray enjoy Wittenberg's 2-0 weather-shortened Women's Soccer win versus Indiana Wesleyan on Saturday, September 30, at Springfield, OH. Injured daughter Emily Murray sat out the match.

Prior to the start of the match, there was no playing of the National Anthem, due to technical difficulties. As I told Trish, the last time that happened at a sports event I attended was at a Columbus Clippers game in 1977.

During halftime, we went into the gymnasium building. In there, we came across copies of "The Torch." (student newspaper) What's in a name? Go figure!
