SHEETS Sherley Edward Sheets, age 74, died Tuesday, June 21, 2005. Veteran Korean War. Retired Assistant Superintendent for Groveport Madison School District, where he also served as Elementary School Principal. Member of Aladdin Shrine Temple, American Legion, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Bexley VFW, and the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite. Preceded in death by biological parents, Webster and Hazel (Campbell) Sheets and devoted foster parents, Stanley and Laura (Sheets) Haskins; foster brothers and best friends, Byron Haskins and E. Blaine Haskins. Survived by wife, Janette (Herdman) Sheets; sons, Gregory Sheets of Columbus and Edward "Ted" Sheets and his wife, Barbara of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Ted, Ryan, Logan and Trevor; brothers, Ralph (Peg) Sheets of Jackson, Raymond (Lola) of Florida, Morris (Jenny) and Daniel of Gallia Co.; sisters, Virginia Marcella Sandell of New York and Hazel (Robert) Rumfield of Gallia Co.; and many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2005 at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Avenue, Columbus, where family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Inurnment with Masonic Graveside Service, Siloam Lodge #456 will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2005 in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Cheshire, OH. Visit www.schoedinger.com to share condolences.
