Cathy Klunk Armstrong update
Blogmaster's note: I e-mailed Cathy regarding a Sacramento area jazz band, called "The Boondockers" I saw recently. They play dixieland jazz and combine the music with comedy. What follows is her response.
Hi David,
You are so good at keeping in touch. I get so wrapped up in things sometimes I don’t know which way I am going. I have not heard of the band …..but there is a good young blues artist that I have seen one or twice from here named Jackie Green. Catch him if you get a chance. He plays a mean harmonica.
Plans are gearing up for France as we did a ride on the Pacific Coast this weekend in preparation fro the Alps. We rode the Sierra Century a couple weeks ago to get our climbing and miles in. We now have 12 people signed up for the trip and my husband is busy making all the last minute plans.
I have quit my job as of Friday and don’t start with my new company (Roche) until the end of July. I’m really excited as it is a good company and opportunity.
It sounds like things are really gearing up for the reunion.
Take Care, and we’ll keep in touch,
Cheers,
Cathy
