A few words about "blogs"

Hi,

Since some of you have inquired about it, I thought I would take this opportunity to enlighten you about "blogs."

"blog" is short for "web log." Basically, it's a website providing a forum where Joe and Josephine Average Sixpack American can express him or herself online. You can do this as well. Just go to www.blogger.com and follow the instructions.

Blogs have been in the news, especially those coveying various political and social rhetoric trying to sway public opinion to a particular point of view. Not all of them do so, however. This blog is an example of that. This blog is about us, the inhabitants of BHS80World!

You may also have been to http://meckblog.blogspot.com, which I update every so often. You might also want to visit my brother's site: http://red-state.com. Michael does an excellent job of presenting insight from a political and academic perspective. It's a different type of writing and style from what I do.
